It was quite a sight to behold this year at the NSA Conference. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting every one of you that came and visited us, and thank you to everyone that participated in the Podcast Kit Giveaway Contest. We had over 70 submissions, which is more than was expected, and we were in the perfect spot for all the traffic, right next to the breakfast and lunch buffet.
During the long three days at the NSA Conference, we had the good, the bad, and the ugly! We learned a lot from our mistakes, and we’re already hard at work planning our next conference. We want to make sure that we’re providing the best possible experience for our attendees.
One thing we learned is that video testimonials are incredibly important. We had a lot of people approach us and say that they loved our products, but they didn’t have the time to write a review or make a video testimonial through the QR code. So, we’re going to be working on making it easier for people to leave us video testimonials, and we’ll be sure to link it up properly next time!
We also learned that we need to be more careful when planning our setup at the stalls, as that 6-foot table wasn’t enough for all our equipment, and as newbies to these conferences, we saw the setup the old timers had, and it looked more flexible, so there’s food for thought on the planning side.
The GOOD
There was a lot of good news at the NSA Conference. and the main talking point was that many attendees and companies were very interested in what Rakonto has to offer, and that means the world to us, as we really believe that Rakonto has so many uses in the world for recording stories of all purposes, whether for business or personal use.
We are only at the beginning of this journey, and we haven’t even taken the lid off of this product yet, So we’re REALLY EXCITED for the future.
The competition was a huge success, and the lucky winner will be announced in our newsletter.
The BAD
One of the talking points from the conference was that the QR codes weren’t very successful because nobody recorded their testimonials regarding their thoughts of the conference.
This is partially down to poor execution from our side, which was a trial and error kind of situation that we will learn from and come back stronger.
The UGLY
The ugly part of our attendance at the conference is that it was 3 long tiring days ferrying all of our equipment from state to state, which didn’t come without a few issues here and there. Plus, traveling to the conference every morning at 5:30 to set up the equipment for when the attendees arrived for breakfast at 6:30 and left the conference at 6:30 once it had finished.
Although these are minor details, on the whole, the NSA Influence Conference was concluded as a success from our side, and we will be back again for the next one, raring to go!
Final thoughts on the NSA Influence Conference
To conclude the event, we would like to say a big thank you to the NSA for having us, and we’re already excited for next year’s conference. It was really great, met some amazing people, and learned a lot about what it takes to be a successful exhibitor at these types of events.
We would also like to give a big thank you to our supporters, followers, and customers. We really appreciate your continued support, and we’re looking forward to continuing this journey with you all.
Until next time!
